My exciting news for the week: my debut YA novel THE INTERN has been longlisted for the Gold Inky in the Inky Awards. I am so, so, so honoured to be included in the top 10 Australian YA novels of 2014 – talk about a dream come true! Look at this incredible line-up.
A little background: The Inky Awards recognise high-quality young adult literature, with the longlist and shortlist selected by young adults, and the winners voted for online by the teen readers of InsideaDog.com.au. There are two awards: the Gold Inky Award for an Australian book, and the Silver Inky Award for an international book.
